If you want to make sure that heavy cooking chamber door is secured safely so it doesn't fall down on someone, this part is a MUST!
We designed this part and made it available because we know you want to be able to focus on cooking and not worry about the people around your cooker getting hurt!
This product is the actual steel parts to install on your smoker.
The 3D pictures show this part installed on a 30 inch diameter cooking chamber for reference.
This product includes:
1- 1/2 Inch Thick Steel Door Catch Pawl
2- ¼ Inch Thick Steel Stop Washers
2- ¼ Inch This Steel Hinge Plates
You'll need to supply some ½ OD steel round bar.
TIP: These Door Catches can be installed as 1 per door or 2 per door.
If 2 Door Catches are installed on the same door panel, be sure to connect them with a single ½ round bar rod that runs through both Door Catch assemblies.
This way you can lift either one and both sides will unlatch.
