The reality is I have not installed the spring handle yet because it won't stop raining long enough to get it welded in place. My Pa taught me electric welding in the rain or other wet conditions not great idea! So I wait.
I try to refrain from reviewing stuff right after I get it. Tested these two gauges a little. They are in total agreement, with in 5-10 degrees. Also tested in comparison to my digital Thermoworks ambient probe and again within a few degrees of each other, so not bad. I will gladly report back later if given the opportunity after a more thorough multi session torture test.
My elliptical end cap is 10 inches from the weld. So I have to shrink everything down a little bit to make it work. There is no info on the smaller barrel tank included in the plans. Other than that these plans are awesome.
