If your thinking to build that kind of pit without those plans think twice , i'm at week 2 of my built and so happy to be able to work with such detailed plans !!! I wasnt sure at the beginning about buying the cnc cut plans but it cost me 10 % more on the steel then if i would have bought some unmovable 1/4 5 ' x 10 ' steel sheets so again think twice because the tremendous amount of cutting time , the number of plasma tips , carbide blades that you ll spend ..... and the most important your ruff is your finish so for a 75" × 35 " × 30" rectangular cooking chamber to be perfectly line up you need some perfect cut so you need those cnc plans !!! And what to say about there customer service , they answered my questions in matter of minutes so ... After all that said do i really need to tell you how i would recommend you to buy from smokerplans.com ..... just like a mandalorian would have answered "this is the way"

The whole experience from buying to building was flawless. Frank's customer service is top notch and all of the information he puts out on Youtube and other social media is incredibly helpful. I couldn't have built this dream smoker of mine without Smoker Builder! I'm not handy at all, but even someone mechanically challenged like me can build a smoker with their help. We purchased 6 kits and had them shipped to Alaska to use for our kids program and as loaner drums for traveling teams. Everyone that uses them raves about how they hold temps and are great to cook on. One team from the lower 48 even switched from his gateways and now runs only Super 55's!

Frank is a master at his craft. He obviously put a great deal of time and thought into these 55 drum smokers. So impressed. Great design. Super Easy to assemble and cooks amazing right out of the box!

The Super 55 was a blast to put together and if you aren't doing a crazy paint job like I am, you will likely finish it in a full day or over the weekend. Grab a beer, get some tools, and have fun! Love the support you get from Frank as well. Top-notch product and company!

Best drums around looking into 4 more for future comps

I ordered 2 drum kits , they arrived within a week of purchase . Everything was packaged neatly , instructions were easy , my 10 year old assembled one drum my 12 year old assembled the other. That’s how awesome these kits are , I got to spend quality time in the garage with my boys putting these drums together. All the parts are built heavy duty , the drum itself was clean so no need for a burn out and sanding. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and when I sent Frank Cox a message on social media to ask some questions before purchase he responded promptly. These drums are going on my comp trailer , the light weight and portability are perfect for our competition team.

I do not have a Super55 smoker. However I had the opportunity go see them getting assembled at American Royal. These are top notch cookers. Frank and his knowledge of all things smokers has impacted just about every single pit builder out there whether they know it or not including myself. I would not hesitate spending my money on one of these pits.
